DIARY 1864 A SMALL RED BOOK
A FEW EVENTS OF 1865
AS RECORDED BY EUGENIA MANNING EDMONDSON
[Most of the pages have been ripped out. Many have no writing on them. A few entries record everyday events. Toward the back are directions for a train trip to Baltimore where Eugenia met her brother Anthony, an officer in the Union Army. Together they journeyed to Point Lookout, MD, a Union Prison, where their brother George, a Confederate, was released. The final pages are barely readable and record important family dates.]
