Meck 13 has two service projects that we support every year. We will keep you informed of any special community outreach projects we have during the year.
Adopt - A - Baby
We collect items for the first baby girl born on or near March 12 (Girl Scout's Birthday). Items are collected throughout the year and many years have been divided among all of the baby girls born on March 12th. An effort is made to keep in touch with the families. Some of the girls born on March 12th have become Girl Scouts themselves!
Ronald McDonald House Charities
Collect those pop tabs! Troops collect pop tabs throughout the year and are turned in at the April district meeting. The cash from the collections goes to Ronald McDonald House Charities. To learn more about the charity, click here. Click here for more pop tab Meck 13 info.
