14 February 1903 - Flour and Saw Mills Destroyed

Destructive Morning Fire at East New Market.  Property of R.W. Randall Goes Up In Smoke, the Loss Being About $7,000 - [Special to the American]  Cambridge, Md., February 13.

The flour and saw mills belonging to R.W. Randall, located at East New Market, were destroyed by fire at an early hour this morning, together with the contents, consisting in part of a number of barrels of flour, a quantity of wheat and 200 barrels of corn.  The loss is about $7,000 and there was no insurance.  The origin of the fire is unknown.  The mills had been in successful operation for several years, and will prove quite a loss to the community.
