20 October 1906 - Life's Cares and Burdens are Over

Mr. Shadrach Carmine, who formerly lived in Caroline county, died very suddenly at his home in Cambridge on Thursday night of last week.  He expired shortly after retiring.  Apoplexy was the cause of death.  Mr. Carmine was seventy-one years of age.  He was a contractor and builder.  The Cambridge News says he was a "splendid type of the good citizen, and was charitable in his speech and conduct toward his fellow-men."  He is survived by a widow, who before her marriage was a Miss Willoughby, of East New Market.
