Dorchester native Eldridge S. Johnson, well known in business circles in Baltimore and on the Eastern Shore as President of the Choptank Steamboat Company died of pneumonia on Friday of last week at his home in Baltimore. Choptank Steamboat company was a competing line to the Maryland Steamboat Co. Before both companies were absorbed by the BC&A. The funeral services held in Balt.
