Miss Jean E. Jacobs, daughter of the late Dr. James Thomas Jacobs and Emma Edmondson Jacobs, died on November 27th at the residence of Mrs. William Richmond Talbot, in Providence, R.I. The funeral service was held in St. Stephens Episcopal Church, East New Market, on Saturday, Nov. 29, and burial was made in East New Market Cemetery.
Captain William V.E. Jacobs and Miss Emma E. Jacobs, the brother and sister of the deceased accompanied the body from Providence.
Mr. J.E. Murdaugh, the nephew of the deceased, and his wife, of Charlottesville, Virginia, were also present.
The funeral and burial services were conducted by the Reverend William McClelland of St. Stephens Parish.
