November 5, 1925 - Masquerade Party

Miss Mary Bramble Willey gave a very delightful Halloween party on Thursday evening at her home near town.  For weeks this event was talked of and planned for, costumes chosen and made.  Games suitable for the occasion were played, punch, ice cream, and cake were served, and dancing was indulged in by many of the guests, who numbered  forty and reported a fine time.  Those present were: Dorotha Hicks, Linda Layton, Aline Brinsfield, Mary Frances Crowe, Thelma Blake, Elinor Bell, Freda Hildenbrandt, Thelma Twilley, Ruth DeMott, Evelyn Moore, Doris Henry, Margaret Mitchell, Ruth Wheatley, Evelyn Colbourne, Elizabeth Blake, Doris Brinsfield, Helen Winsor, Helen Helsby, Rebecca Willey, and Mary Bramble Willey.  Messrs Thomas Wheatley, Leolan Higgins, Chas. Hurley, Warren DeMott, George Rickwood, Joseph Hudson, Henry Kock, Billy Holland, James Kimmey, Theodore Boston, Emerson Clifton, Author Colbourne, Allen Carroll, Phillip Crowe, Donald Wheatley, Thomas Gambriel, Lawton Jones, Andrew Clausser, Harry Bratten, and Talmage Goslin, of Federalsburg.
