The footprints of two unlabeled structures are shown the 1877 map near the main intersection.  The structures are the Corkran-Helsby Dwelling and the Old Granary.  In addition, an old store house existed around this time frame.  It abutted the corner of the intersection and was later known as Helsby's Corner Store.  This store was likely torn down around 1876 and rebuilt a few years later.  The Corkran-Helsby Dwelling was torn down between 1922 and 1934.  In 1937, Nathaniel "Blunt" Frampton and Lee Frampton built a store called Frampton's.  The store is now known as Hometown Pride Market & Deli.  The address of the residence above the store is 102 Main Street.  The land to the immediate north of the Corkran-Helsby Dwelling was part this property in 1877.  In 1905, James M. Smith and Emma Helsby Smith leased this land to Howard H. Willoughby.  They later sold the land to him in 1916.  Likely around 1906, he built the Willoughby Funeral Home at 106 Main Street.
