Children's Choir

Background

After the economic collapse of 2008, many schools faced severe budget cuts.  One of the first programs to be cut is the arts.  Many children do not have access to musical education in the local school systems.  I fell in love with music at an early age and wanted other children to have the same opportunities I did.

My first exposure to music was in the children's choir at my church.  Our children's choir was dissolved several years ago when the people leading the choir moved away.  I decided to start a new choir to give our elementary school-aged children the chance to participate.
